CESSNA CITATION EUROPEAN SERVICE CENTER, an aeronautical maintenance / continuing airworthiness management company based at Le Bourget airport, is looking for a Crew Chief.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Crew Chief (M / F) manages a team and multiple projects on aircraft from the Cessna Citation / Beechcraft / Hawker range under the responsibility of a Technical Service Manager (TSM). He / she certifies staff.

JOB DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES :

  1. Reporting to the TSM and coordinating with the Customer Service Managers (CSM), he / she:
  1. Manages the hangar maintenance sites assigned to him / her to achieve optimum productivity.
  2. Manages the technicians or external contractors assigned to his work sites to meet the scheduled delivery dates and times.
  1. To do this, he / she:
  1. Receives the visit file, checks its layout and usability, and manages the worksites in relation to the order forms / files prepared, taking into account any revisions to customer order forms.
  2. Distributes work among team members according to skill level.
  3. Coordinates and controls work carried out by other departments and/or subcontractors.
  4. Places parts orders.
  5. Carries out operations in accordance with visit files (inspections, etc.).
  6. Checks and validates operations carried out by subordinates.
  7. Intervenes in troubleshooting operations and approved data searches.
  8. Reports to superiors on progress and problems encountered for resolution.
  9. Ensures, at the end of the work, that the inspection files are in order, legible and compliant with regulations for reservice.
  10. Can produce an SDR.
  11. Releases aircraft from the range indicated on his / her license.

Maintains good communication with TSM / CSM on project progress, external supplier requirements and any problems affecting aircraft delivery date and time.

Prepares the sequence of tasks to be carried out, using documentation written in English consisting of rules and procedures.

Ensures that handovers are carried out and that work is completed/confirmed as the visit progresses.

Replaces or repairs defective components, following technical documentation precisely and complying with safety instructions and deadlines.

Qualifications

  1. Must hold an EASA B1 license with QT / C license.
  2. Beechcraft certifications required.
  3. Minimum 8 years' experience.
  4. Knowledge of technical English required.
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation to carry out the required maintenance tasks in compliance with best practice.
  6. Knowledge of Part 145 / SMS / FH / EWIS / CDCCL.
  7. Basic computer skills.
  8. Ability to manage and work as part of a team.
  9. Ability to work shifts.
  10. B driving license required.
  11. Attention to detail, rigor and flexibility.
