Job description

We do not simply analyse buildings, we pilot them with data. At Thermosphr, energy management is entirely data-driven: every control decision, savings calculation and alert relies on building data. A single error can affect twenty buildings at once, and a single fix can scale just as fast.

You join our Operational Excellence team. Your mission: make Energy Managers faster and more reliable by improving their processes and equipping them with the right data tools.

We favour fast delivery: solutions are deployed at 80% and improved continuously. We are a fast-growing company with major scaling challenges: your scope grows with your impact.

What you will do

You own four missions, each with a clear target for your first year.

  • Equipment monitoring. Monitor around 500 pieces of equipment in real time and automate alerts or corrective actions before failures result in data or energy losses. Target: every failure detected within 10 minutes.

  • Building performance. Detect when a building’s savings fall below break-even, identify the root cause and escalation it. Target: detection within 4 days.

  • Savings estimation. Forecast a building’s achievable savings before sale, then calibrate the model against actual results. Target: estimates accurate within 10%.

  • Energy Managers’ efficiency. Identify the bottlenecks in their daily work, such as manual mapping of BMS points during building onboarding, and equip them with the right data tools. Target: 30% of their time saved.

Across all four, you structure the data our tools rely on and work in fast cycles: an AI-assisted MVP within days, the long-term solution with the Tech team within weeks, and adoption measured once it ships.

We are looking for a high-potential profile, with a master’s degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in data or analytics in a demanding environment, ideally a high-growth company. Beyond analysis, you are able to structure data and automate processes.More important than a specific background, we are looking for someone driven by making things better, with:a proven track record: a tool you designed and delivered, with measurable impact (adoption, time saved, issues avoided);hands-on experience with a range of data tools (e.g. SQL, Python, BigQuery, Metabase, Databricks), applied to real operational cases;strong ownership: you coordinate with Tech and Operations until a solution is delivered and adopted;advanced use of AI and automation in your daily work;a genuine interest in building operations and energy performance;native or bilingual French and fluent English.

Previous experience in real estate or energy is not required.

Why join us

This is an opportunity to own the data that runs hundreds of buildings across Europe. You see the impact of what you build within weeks, on real energy savings and on how the whole team works. You join early, at a key stage of Thermosphr’s growth, and the role grows with what you deliver.
