Description du poste

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst (full remote) to join our team. Together with the Data Engineers, the team will implement methods to improve data reliability and quality. The aim of the role is to retrieve, process, and analyse data based on Business requirements and then visually represent it in the best way to managers and stakeholders in Power BI. The Data Analyst will also process documentation and help define Key Performance Indicators.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse business analytical requirements and build related reports in Power BI
  • Build a thorough understanding of the business operations to report on
  • Work with Data Engineers to specify the data sets needed from the Data Warehouse
  • Access, analyse, and combine raw information from different sources
  • Manage users and user roles in Power BI
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Develop documentation for existing processes
Profile
  • Power BI knowledge is essential
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Expertise in analytics, reports, and dashboard building
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in collecting, organizing, analysing, and disseminating significant amounts of information
  • Understanding of data warehouses and data management concepts (data modelling, star schema, normalization, etc.)
  • Fluent English required (working language); French is a plus
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
  • Experience handling large data sets and relational databases
  • Strong knowledge of BI applications (preferably Power BI), databases, and programming
  • Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • MS Certifications such as PL-300 and/or DP-500, and experience with Power Apps/Power Automate are a plus
