Data at Wooclap is important to empower other teams and to take informed decisions such as improving the product, understand our weaknesses and opportunities,etc.

The data team is expanding to meet the new challenges imposed by Wooclap’s growth. Our sector moves fast, and so do we: we remain on the cutting edge, with this in mind, we are looking for our new data analyst to join us. A number of new challenges are ahead of us, and if you are comfortable with a growing team that places innovation at the heart of its development, then this position is for you.

We are a fully remote team that places great importance on cohesion and mutual support and we believe we offer a unique and genuinely healthy work environment.

Your goal will be to help Wooclap teams make informed decisions by creating KPIs, A/B tests, and dashboards. You will also need to be comfortable with the rest of the technical stack, even if it is not your core expertise, our data infrastructure is hosted on AWS and we use technologies such as Athena, Airflow, K8s/Docker, etc. You will mainly program in Python or R depending on the cases.

Ideally, you have between 2 to 4 years of experience as a data analyst and are comfortable with remote work.

You have a masters degree and/or relevant experiences in data analytics.

You speak fluent French and have good written and spoken English skills.

Experience interacting with non-technical profiles (product managers/designers, sales/marketing teams, clients, etc.). You can communicate about technical topics without unnecessary jargon.

You already use both R and Python and their data-oriented libraries: pandas, numpy, sklearn, data table, etc. And you master one or both

You have a very good knowledge in SQL and ideally you’ve already used Trino on Athena .

You have a solid understanding of statistics and already used it to help a business.

You are proactive and can propose analyses to help the business teams in their development.

You have a learning mindset & are curious about cutting-edge technologies.

You know how to work in a team, are always ready to help others especially when problems are complex and need multiple brains.

You have experience using Git and other standard development tools.

Ideally, you’ll have:

Experience with BI tools like Metabase, Tableau, QuickSight, etc. or with dashboard development tools like Shiny.

You are familiar with the AWS environment, knowing the architecture of a data lake with S3/Glue/Athena is a plus.
