Sword Services is looking for a Scrum Master to enhance agile practices within their client's team. This position plays a crucial role in implementing the SAFe framework, focusing on data integration and management, aimed at supporting product teams to deliver high-quality results through effective agile methodologies.
We are opening a Scrum Master position to strengthen our client's team based in Geneva. As part of a broader Lean-Agile transformation, this organization is implementing the SAFe framework to improve agile practices and product delivery. The Scrum Master will play a key role in supporting product teams, particularly in the areas of Data Integration and Master Data Management.
Lead a product team focused on data-related domains, ensuring alignment with agile practices and the overall T&I strategy.
Work closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and stakeholders to align priorities and optimize team organization.
Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Promote team self-organization and support team members in delivering high-quality outcomes.
Monitor performance indicators (velocity, burn-up, burn-down) and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and effective communication of the roadmap.
Identify and remove blockers, while coaching the team to resolve challenges independently.
Ensure realistic planning through accurate estimation and alignment with team capacity.
University degree in IT or a related field.
Certified Scrum Master; SAFe certification highly desirable.
Solid understanding of agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or other methodologies.
3 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in an international setting.
Proficient in agile project management tools, particularly Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with IT service management principles (ITIL) and experience working with outsourced (nearshore) teams.
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written); understanding of French is mandatory.
Strong leadership, analytical mindset, adaptability, and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
