Biomemory, Paris HQ, is hiring a Presales / Sales Engineer for Cybersecurity. You will be the technical backbone of the sales process, translating a world-first DNA data storage technology into a defensible security solution for CISOs and IT teams.

You will lead discovery, tailor demonstrations, run PoCs, and respond to security questionnaires while shaping the product roadmap with market feedback. This is a hybrid Paris role with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in a presales / sales engineering / solutions architect role.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals: data security, encryption in transit/at rest, backup & archival, immutability, air-gapping, and relevant compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001).
• Comfortable engaging CISOs, security architects and IT decision-makers and earning their technical trust.
• Proven ability to run PoCs, technical workshops and compelling demos.
• Fluent in English and French; comfortable in an international B2B environment.
• Autonomous, hands-on, entrepreneurial — you thrive in a fast-moving startup with a blank page.
• Genuine interest in sustainability and in solving the coming data crunch.

Responsabilités

• Act as the technical expert alongside sales on cybersecurity-driven opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery: understand the customer's security architecture, threat model and compliance constraints.
• Design and present the Biomemory solution tailored to each account's data-protection and long-term-preservation needs.
• Build and deliver compelling demos, technical presentations and workshops.
• Scope, run and support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical validations.
• Respond to RFIs / RFPs, security questionnaires and technical due-diligence requests.
• Position Biomemory against the status quo (silicon storage) on resilience, immutability, air-gapping and data sovereignty.
• Voice of the market: Feed field insights and technical objections back to Product to sharpen the roadmap.
• Help build the reusable presales toolkit: demo scripts, reference architectures, technical FAQs.
