Cybersecurity Finance Control Officer

YOUR ROLE
The Cybersecurity Finance Control Officer oversees the financial activities within the Cybersecurity department. This role includes managing budgets, tracking financial performance, forecasting future needs, and ensuring resources are optimally allocated. You'll work with various stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity investments align with organizational goals, maintaining strong financial governance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Budget Management (Year N)
- Track and control cybersecurity-related expenditures/investments.
- Prepare and perform reforecasts as needed.
- Analyze variances and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align expenditures with objectives.
- Definition and Construction of Budget (Year N+1)
- Define cybersecurity needs and prepare budget forecasts.
- Identify necessary investments for information system security.
- Organization and Supervision of Cybersecurity Expenditures
- Oversee procurement and investments, ensuring compliance with processes.
- Prepare presentations and memos for decision committees.
- Financial Coordination and Communication
- Collaborate with technical teams to align resources with priorities.
- Present financial information to management and executive teams.
- Contract Management with Suppliers
- Manage financial relationships and ensure commitments are met.
- Oversee contract performance and resolve issues.
- Financial/Sourcing Strategy
- Analyze expenses and develop action plans for optimization.
- Prepare presentations for executive leadership.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in budget management/financial oversight in cybersecurity or similar sector.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Project management skills are a plus.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity challenges and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in English).
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to design, document, and maintain processes.
- Strong coordination skills to meet targets.
- Ability to work autonomously and align stakeholders globally.
- Rigorous, analytical, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
