Responsibilities during intercampaign (outside sugar production periods) – Cuviste-Distillateur

• Monitor the entire workshop(s) he operates using the control system.
• During the sugar production period, communicate important information to the operators of other workshops when noteworthy changes could impact their operation.
• At the request of the shift supervisor, perform safety shutdown operations for equipment in view of maintenance.
• Carry out rounds, manual operations, analyses, verifications and necessary adjustments.
• Maintain the cleanliness of installations.
• Participate in site management routines (performance points, process, working group, etc.).
• Be proactive in continuous improvement within their perimeter.
• Record operations, parameter changes and anomalies on available prints and computer tools; inform the shift supervisor of any malfunction or alarm he cannot resolve.

Responsibilities during campaign (sugar production) – Process Operator

• Monitor the entire workshop(s) he operates using the control system, managing both flow and quality values.
• Take actions on set points to achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives.
• Take necessary measures in case of anomalies to ensure personnel safety and safeguard equipment and products.
• Provide appropriate instructions to filtration and root-cut operators.
• Start up and shut down equipment.
• Transmit important information to operators in other workshops when noteworthy changes could impact their operation.
• At the supervisor's request, perform safety shutdown operations for equipment in view of maintenance.
• Carry out manual operations, verifications and adjustments as needed.
• Record on available prints the routine operations, parameter changes and anomalies.
• Inform the shift supervisor, controller or polyvalent staff of any malfunction or alarm that cannot be resolved at the driving post; call maintenance personnel as needed.
• Respect safety, quality, environment and energy procedures and best practices.
