The HVAC Front Lines Sales Engineer France (M / F) position is an exciting sales role at an exciting time of growth within JCI. A position that allows you to develop your potential and experience in a leading company, helping customers achieve their sustainability goals and power their mission.

Reporting directly into the YORK HVAC Regional Sales Manager, your role will focus on driving sales of YORK HVAC Applied equipment (chillers, heat pumps, terminal units, air handling, Rooftops and more) specially in the Commercial & Mid-Market segments via Distributors, HVAC Installers and / or MEC contractors.

You will have the opportunity to build on any existing customer relationships we or you may have whilst developing new business across the region. You will be targeting product and solution driven opportunities within our HVAC industry that translates into profitable growth for both, our YORK channel partners and JCI. You will develop, communicate, and implement a comprehensive plan to grow the YORK brand business and share across your region.

How you will do it :

  • Being part of a multicultural, diverse and multidisciplinary team, working, feeling and collaborating as a One Team member within JCI.
  • After an initial training and onboarding period, as an HVAC Applied Sales manager / Sales Engineer (M / F) you will be able to operate independently and customer focused.
  • Co-creating and executing the YORK sales strategy in alignment with the annual sales plans and towards the achievement of your individual goals and targets.
  • Supported by best-in-class CRM tools, you will understand your customer base and work to align their needs with our products and services, developing, supporting, and maintaining trustful relationships with YORK channel partners to power their mission.
  • With the creativity and ability to build new relationships to further develop and expand our brand by identifying and prospecting new partners to onboard, leveraging York's extensive portfolio.
  • Your exceptional communication skills will help to deliver a positive customer experience when partnering with JCI along the value chain, from the promotion of the Johnson Controls & YORK value proposition when providing business and technical solutions, driving Base of Design, pricing assistance, sales coaching and product training or supporting marketing activities and lead generation.
  • You will echo and champion the needs of the customers, identifying and analyzing market opportunities, assist with competitive product research including competitive price, performance and feature analysis and overview strengths and weaknesses compared to competitors. And as a team player, coordinate these requirements with other disciplines within the organization.
  • Experienced and disciplined in sales, you will master the sales process, forecasting and reporting actuals business sales volumes, at requested frequency, for different line of products and accounts.

What we look for :

  • Sales personality with proven record delivering results in HVAC equipment sales.
  • At least between 3 and 5 years successfully specifying, designing and / or selling HVAC Applied solutions: Chillers / Heat pump, Terminal Units, Air Handling Units, Rooftop units.
  • Great skills to support & train distributors to boost joined growth.
  • Ability to work to targets and KPI's and self-monitor own performance.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills. Salesforce CRM knowledge is a plus.
  • Availability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • English is required to be successful in this role.

We offer a fixed-term contract, located either in Colombes (92), Chassieu (69), or Bordeaux (33). Home office is possible a few days per week.
