At the core of the company groups, team up with 30+ support engineers across the globe. Belong to a variety of technical backgrounds and expertise. Work side by side with our customers both on-site and remotely to assist every step of an Exail product integration and operation. This unique position ensures hands-on experience with the full range of Exail products, including quantum systems and photonics.

Proudly provide 24/7 support to our customers. Assist them in meeting their day-to-day objectives. Contribute prompt, accurate, and reliable answers to their questions. Whether they need simple advice or a deeper understanding of the technology, they can contact you! Based in our Gradignan office, at the heart of our Quantum Systems division, apply to become a Customer Support Engineer.

Quantum Systems has developed strong expertise in quantum sensors. These revolutionary instruments, at the frontier of science and technology, are built from optoelectronics subassemblies packed with features for high-end performance. You will work within a division of around fifty people, bringing together a broad range of competencies including optics, lasers, electronics, computing, systems, instrumentation, mechanics, ultra-high vacuum, and atomic physics.

Products Responsibilities:

  • Absolute quantum gravimeters capable of measuring gravity with a relative accuracy of 10-9, dedicated to geophysics applications such as volcanology, geodesy, and hydrology.
  • Differential quantum gravimeters measuring gravity's vertical gradient to 10-10 g/m.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent Exail to customers both internally and externally.
  • Provide remote support to customers:
  • Follow-up and respond to hotline, email, and customer requests.
  • Document, analyze, report, resolve, and record customer claims in the database.
  • Provide on-site support:
  • Conduct in-situ maintenance and service operations.
  • Prepare, execute, debrief, report, and follow-up on support activities.
  • Support a global geographical zone.
  • Internal support:
  • Collaborate with all Exail teams to advance support cases.
  • Assist sales and project teams during pre-sales and after-sales activities.
  • Participate in factory maintenance and follow-up with customers.
  • Coordinate with expert teams for continuous knowledge and experience improvement.
  • Engage in ongoing internal and self-directed training on related products.
  • Own and improve back-office support procedures and tools.
  • Share knowledge, develop skills, and collaborate with the team.

Profile

  • Engineer or PhD in cold atoms, quantum technologies, or atomic science.
  • Relevant experience with quantum sensors and scientific disciplines.
  • Data analysis and processing skills, ideally using Python.
  • Service-oriented attitude and results-driven approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful.
  • Self-motivated, technically curious, able to work independently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Multi-cultural awareness and experience.
