We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our team in France. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GE e-terra AEMS / EMS or equivalent SCADA / EMS platforms, along with strong technical and communication skills. This is a key customer-facing role requiring analytical troubleshooting expertise and a deep understanding of power systems operations.

Technical Requirements

  • Direct experience with GE e-terra AEMS / EMS or equivalent SCADA / EMS software
  • Knowledge of transmission and distribution grid operations
  • Familiarity with SCADA, UI, and modeling tools
  • Experience with protocols like ICCP, RTU, DNP3, IEC 104, IEC 61850, Modbus
  • Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and database technologies like Oracle, SQL
  • Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, routing, LAN, DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, and switches
  • Understanding of NERC CIP compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively

Managerial & Soft Skills

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management
  • Ability to mentor and guide technical support teams
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering / Power Systems
