An exciting opportunity is now available for suitable candidates to advance their careers in Customer Service Management, People Management, Branch & Banking Operations, and Stakeholder Management (employee, customer, community) as a Customer Service & Operations Manager!

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Customer Service and Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining seamless daily branch operations by leading, guiding, and mentoring the operations team. This role includes ensuring compliance with HLB’s policies, standards, and BNM regulatory reporting, as well as handling customer inquiries or complaints promptly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solicit leads through referrals and cold calls for sales via marketing visits, telemarketing, launches, road shows, and other sales activities to achieve targets.
  • Actively cross-sell Banking/Financial products.
  • Assess, evaluate, and diligently propose credit applications.
  • Build rapport and relationships with customers to establish loyalty, encourage repeated sales, and increase product holdings.
  • Provide excellent customer service and uphold professionalism to reflect the Bank’s image.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and sales regulations related to FSA, KYC, AMLA, and internal policies & procedures.

Requirements:

  • A Degree/Diploma/Professional Certification in any field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in Branch Customer Service, Branch Sales, or Retail Outlet Management.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to guide and train staff to meet service and cross-selling standards.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Willing to take on new challenges and possess a ‘Think-Act-Own’ attitude to see planned and unplanned tasks through to completion.
