A leading international company in France is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support customer orders and maintain relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have an International Business degree, fluency in French and English, and experience in customer service. This permanent, full-time position is based in Le Mans or Fontenay-aux-Roses, with expected travel between locations.

Qualifications

  • Preferred degree in International Business or Sales Administration.
  • First successful experience in a customer service position is necessary.
  • Interest in administrative tasks and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilités

  • Process and follow up Customer orders according to contract review.
  • Create and maintain a trusting relationship with customers.
  • Prepare invoices and handle customer disputes.

Description du poste

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Customer Service Assistant, to work at our office in Le Mans (72) or in our headquarters located in Fontenay-aux-Roses (92), in the south of Paris.

CIPEM, subsidiary of ICAPE Group, is focused on custom-made technical parts in more than 10 families: plastic, metal, batteries, power supplies, cables, keyboards, transformers, etc., for many sectors of industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and follow up Customer orders in accordance with the contract review
  • Create and maintain a trusting relationship with customers
  • Handle the interface between the various parties involved (customers, suppliers, carriers, sales staff and internal departments)
  • Prepare pro forma invoices, invoices and customer credit notes in the case of dispute
  • Answer the telephone, provide customers with information and/or direct them to the right people
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the service and updating the department's procedures/working methods

REQUIREMENTS

  • International Business or Sales Administration degree preferred, and a first successful experience in a commercial or Sales Administration /Customer position
  • Fluent in French and English, another language would be appreciated
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Good inter-personal skills, be able to work as a team
  • Have an interest in administrative tasks
  • Be rigourous
  • Have good analysis skills
