Job Overview
As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll be the frontline support for our clients, managing inquiries through our ticketing system and providing exceptional service. This remote role offers an excellent opportunity to step into the tech industry and gain valuable startup experience in the fintech space, developing expertise at the intersection of technology and taxation.
Your Responsibilities
Customer Care
- Resolving customer tickets within a 4-hour SLA
- Working with ticketing systems and navigating technical complexities
Data Analysis
- Understanding reporting tools like HubSpot, Make, and Google Suite
- Finding root causes and appropriate internal contacts for customer issues
Technical Understanding
- Following internal and external documentation to self-serve issues
- Learning about APIs, Jira, and troubleshooting third-party applications
Tax Knowledge
- Developing expertise in how tax and technology merge
- Researching and applying tax regulations (experience with sales tax or VAT is a plus!)
Skills for Success
- Native/Professional English language knowledge
- Empathy and genuine love for helping people
- Remote customer service experience (ticketing systems, email & chat)
- Ability to explain complex issues in a simple, understandable way
- Excellent organization and communication skills
The Details You Need to Know
- This is a contract position (paid once monthly)
- Work from anywhere in the world! Fully remote
- Tech requirements: You'll need your own laptop that can handle a security VPN, Google Meet/Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Office
- Pay: Salary based upon work experience, skillset and location
- There are exponential growth opportunities with Taxually and our team
- Hours: 40 hours/week, 5 days/week (schedule includes Monday-Sunday)
