Job Description:
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher specializing in digital technologies and urban health. The successful candidate will develop innovative solutions based on the analysis of urban data (big data, IoT, GIS) to monitor and improve public health. You will contribute to modeling smart cities with a focus on health and designing decision-support tools for sustainable and inclusive urban environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Tool Development:Develop digital tools to monitor and analyze the determinants of urban health using sensor data, public databases, and GIS.
Predictive Modeling:Design predictive models to evaluate the impact of urban and environmental policies on public health.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate emerging technologies into urban health research projects.
Data-Driven Recommendations:Propose concrete recommendations to improve the health of urban populations through data-based interventions.
Scientific Communication:Contribute to scientific publications and disseminate research findings to public decision-makers and communities.
Research Project Management:Assist in managing research projects, including drafting funding proposals, coordinating with partners, and monitoring budgets.
Required Qualifications :
PhD:A PhD in digital public health, urban health, data science applied to health or urban planning, smart urban systems, or a related field.
Expertise in Big Data Analysis:Proven expertise in analyzing and processing large urban datasets for public health applications.
IoT Knowledge:In-depth understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for collecting data on environmental and health parameters (air quality, noise, mobility).
GIS Proficiency:Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to map and analyze spatial determinants of urban health.
Predictive Modeling Skills:Ability to develop predictive models and simulation tools to assess the impact of urban interventions on health.
Smart City Experience:Experience in developing smart city models focused on health and environmental infrastructures.
Advanced Data Analysis: Advanced skills in machine learning, deep learning, and advanced statistics for processing complex data.
Urban Health Principles: Familiarity with urban planning principles centered on health (active mobility, access to healthcare services, etc.).
Sustainable Development Goals: Understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to health and urban sustainability.
Personal and Organizational Qualities:
Ability to conduct interdisciplinary research and propose innovative solutions to urban health challenges.
Skill in transforming complex data into actionable insights for research and decision-making.
Proven capacity to produce high-level publications and present research results at international conferences.
