Job Details

The Georges Baptiste High School, a hospitality training institution with 530 students (including 210 boarders), is seeking a cook to assist the technical team in catering activities, contribute to regional catering policies, and implement multi-skilling within the establishment.

Responsibilities include managing production sectors, participating in menu planning, ensuring meal distribution, maintaining kitchen equipment and premises, receiving supplies, and implementing hygiene standards like PMS and HACCP.

Profile & Skills

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques for collective catering.
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment and understanding of nutrition and sustainable practices.
• Organizational skills, teamwork, and ability to coordinate activities in absence of the team leader.

Soft skills include teamwork, autonomy, hierarchical respect, reactivity, and understanding of the school environment.

Working Hours & Constraints

• 1607 annual hours, 40-43 hours/week, with specific daily schedules and one evening shift.
• Exposure to risks, repetitive gestures, heavy lifting, postural constraints, and working in cold/hot environments with PPE.

Supervision & Conditions
