Job Description:

We’re looking for a France-based CTO to join our climate tech startup.

️ Important: This is a co-founder position — expect equity, not salary.

What’s the project about?
  • This year, the global furniture industry is projected to generate a turnover of US$765 billion. In the European Union alone, it employs over 1 million people.
  • Driven by evolving consumer expectations and impending regulations — such as the ESPR and EUDR in Europe, and the AGEC law in France — furniture brands are undergoing a major transition toward sustainability.
  • Our platform will empower furniture brands to measure and reduce their environmental impact at scale.
Who are we?
  • Anthony: a materials science graduate, he's a Life Cycle Analysis specialist. Among other projects, he helped set up an automated Life Cycle Analysis tool at TotalEnergies. He's based in Nancy, France.
  • Greg: an ESSEC graduate, he was an early employee at French unicorn Doctolib, leading patient marketing. He also served as CMO at Hunter.io and Head of Growth at Wisepops. He's based in Montpellier, France.
How far along are we in the project?

We’ve been engaging with the industry for the past 10 months. We have a clear idea of what our MVP should look like. We even have a few lines of code ready.

Now, we want to finish the MVP to close our first deals.

Who are we looking for?
  • You have a knack for data challenges.
  • You know how to scale a SaaS product.
  • You’ve worked in international environments before, and you’re comfortable working in a remote setting.
  • Bonus: You hold an engineering degree.
  • You’re concerned and passionate about environmental issues.
  • You’ve worked in startups before, and you know that finding the Product-Market Fit can take time and iterations.
  • You’re humble and convinced that teamwork is the foundation of successful companies.
  • You’re ready to lead a team when the time comes.
  • To help tackle climate change in a meaningful way.
