Job Description:

We’re looking for a France-based CTO to join our climate tech startup.

️Important: This is a co-founder position — expect equity, not salary.

What’s the project about?
  • The global furniture industry is projected to generate a turnover of US$765 billion this year. In the EU, it employs over 1 million people.
  • Furniture brands are transitioning towards sustainability due to evolving consumer expectations and regulations like ESPR, EUDR, and the French AGEC law.
  • Our platform aims to help furniture brands measure and reduce their environmental impact at scale.
Who are we?
  • Anthony: a materials science graduate and Life Cycle Analysis specialist, based in Nancy, France. He helped develop an automated LCA tool at TotalEnergies.
  • Greg: an ESSEC graduate, former early employee at Doctolib, and experienced in marketing and growth, based in Montpellier, France.
Project status:

We’ve been engaging with the industry for 10 months, have a clear MVP plan, and some initial code. Our goal now is to complete the MVP and secure our first deals.

Who are we looking for?
  • Someone passionate about data challenges.
  • Experience in scaling SaaS products.
  • Comfortable working remotely and in international environments.
  • Bonus: an engineering degree.
  • Passionate about environmental issues.
  • Experience in startups and understanding that product-market fit takes time.
  • Humble and team-oriented, ready to lead a team when needed.
