Us3 Consulting is supporting a client on a confidential opportunity for an accomplished French-speaking CTO with strong experience delivering AI at scale. This role requires commercial tech leadership, governance of AI initiatives, and the ability to translate vision into a practical roadmap with board-level visibility.

The ideal candidate has a track record of leading multi‑million‑euro programmes, building scalable data foundations, and delivering measurable business outcomes through AI

Us3 Consulting is supporting a client on a confidential opportunity for an accomplished French-speaking CTO with strong experience delivering AI at scale.

Given the nature of this appointment, this brief focuses on the background and capabilities we are seeking. The specific business, remit and strategic priorities will be discussed privately with suitably aligned executives.

What we are looking for

A commercially focused technology leader who combines executive credibility with the technical depth to assess architecture, challenge decisions and lead delivery. Your background should demonstrate:

• CTO or equivalent senior technology leadership, with accountability for technology strategy, engineering teams, investment and execution.
• Taking AI solutions from concept into production, achieving sustained adoption and measurable business results.
• Substantial experience with AI and machine learning, including generative AI, LLMs and intelligent automation, with sound judgement about where these technologies create value.
• Leading complex, multimillion-pound or euro technology programmes, managing budgets, delivery risk and benefits realisation.
• Building scalable data and technology foundations that enable AI deployment and integration with existing enterprise systems.
• Establishing effective AI governance, covering security, privacy, model evaluation, reliability and ongoing operating costs.
• Working closely with boards, investors and business leaders, connecting technology investment to growth, profitability and operational improvement.
• Building and leading high-performing engineering, data and AI teams, balancing internal capability with external partners.

Experience within private equity-backed businesses, M&A, post-acquisition integration or business turnaround would be particularly relevant.
