A dynamic tech start-up in France is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its development team. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of PHP development experience, especially with Laravel, and at least 3 years of management experience. You will be responsible for managing a growing team, ensuring code quality, and developing innovative software solutions. Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a PHP developer, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Extensive experience with PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong focus on best practices and coding standards.

Responsabilités

• Manage a team of developers and QA testers.
• Organize work using development tickets and ensure timely completion.
• Anticipate deadlines and manage platform security.
• Develop new features and resolve bugs.

Stafiz is a start-up that develops the best Software for services companies (consultants, agencies, auditors, ). The software provides ERP features (timesheets, billing, ), helps manage resource planning across teams and creates a innovative network between all stakeholders (services companies, their clients & freelancers) for everybody to work more efficiently with more visibility.

In just a few years, Stafiz has become the leading software for professional services organizations in France. We want to become the leader in Europe and we are looking for a fantastic CTO to help us achieve this.

Our visionCreate the next automated software that will make redundant all unnecessary work times! (so that people can be on never-ending vacations).

The website is built under Laravel (PHP framework), using vue.js and hosted at AWS. Stafiz is growing very quickly and is now seeking to extend its internal development team. We are looking for a CTO to plan, organize and perform the growth of the software.

Tasks

• Manage the tech team
  • 5 developers currently + 2 to come in January 2025
  • 2 QA testers
• Organizing the work with the development tickets
  • Ensure the developments are done correctly and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring code quality
• Anticipating deadlines and risks
  • Ensuring platform security
  • Anticipating deadlines (PHP versions, Laravel version, libraries, )
• Coding
  • Developing new features
  • Resolving bugs
  • Refactoring, security patches

• Extensive experience in PHP framework (Laravel, Symfony..) - 10 years of experience as a PHP developer and, at least, 3 years managing a team.
