Job summary

MaiaSpace in Fontainebleau is seeking a Fluids System Engineer to lead the first stage fluid systems design, including cryogenic and non-cryogenic architectures, for ground, propulsion and orbital phases, with end-to-end responsibility.

You will develop 1D/3D simulation models, justify design choices, and support supplier management and technology roadmap efforts in a pragmatic, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent in aerospace engineering.
• 5 years of professional experience in liquid propulsion and fluidic systems.
• Experience with 1D correlation methods and CFD for steady and transient analyses.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fluid systems architectures for cryogenic and non-cryogenic phases.
• Conduct functional concept studies and detailed layouts with justification.
• Develop design tools and 1D/3D simulation models for development and validation.
• Perform test prediction and exploitation activities.
• Sourcing, scope definition and contract management with suppliers.
• Support the technology roadmap and industrialization efforts.
