Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Lighting Technician to maintain and program entertainment lighting aboard ships. You will design and operate professional lighting for cabaret and shows, and assist with scenic changes while ensuring safety and timely delivery.

The role requires theatre or shipboard lighting experience, strong knowledge of Martin lighting systems, and proficiency with MS Office. This is a fulltime onboard position with responsibilities expanding during operations.

Qualifications

• Two years experience running lights in a theatrical setting or four years in ships/theatres/clubs.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of theatre productions, backstage operations and safe rigging.
• Advanced knowledge of moving lights programming and design with Martin products and lasers.
• Strong knowledge of various Martin lighting systems and high-end DL1 devices.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the lighting design as set by the design teams and Norwegian Cruise Line.
• Modify lighting design notes for operational circumstances to restore original design later.
• Assist with scenic changeovers and ensure safety and timeliness.
• Design and program high-standard lighting for cabaret/variety acts.
• Maintain auditable inventory of entertainment lighting assets.
• Perform maintenance testing and troubleshoot lighting rig pre-show; report issues.
• Create and maintain detailed tracking sheets for supervisors.
• Pyrotechnic lead: record-keeping, ordering, storage management, and test firing with safety.
