Job summary

Institut Curie in Paris is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the Gene Regulation team. The position focuses on CRISPR-based screens and the development of stem cell models to study Polycomb group protein function at multiple biological levels.

You will contribute to biochemical studies, transcriptomic and epigenomic profiling, and collaborative projects while training students and maintaining laboratory operations. The role is a full-time fixed-term contract located in Paris.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in life sciences or equivalent.
• Expertise in molecular biology (cloning, PCR, RNA purification, protein purification).
• Expertise in cell culture.
• Knowledge of or experience in CRISPR-based methods and/or single-cell RNA-seq.

Responsibilities

• Perform CRISPR-based genetic screens coupled to single cell transcriptomics.
• Engineer stem cell models (iPS, ES) by genome editing and characterize their transcriptomic and epigenomic properties.
• Conduct biochemical studies of Polycomb-associated proteins.
• Participate in routine duties such as equipment maintenance, stock renewal, and training.
