Position: Crew Chief Mechanic (King Air)

Location: CESSNA CITATION EUROPEAN SERVICE CENTER, Le Bourget airport

Job Summary: The Crew Chief (M/F) manages a team and multiple projects on aircraft from the Cessna Citation / Beechcraft / Hawker range, under the supervision of a Technical Service Manager (TSM). The role involves certifying staff responsibilities.

Job Duties and Activities:
  1. Reporting and Coordination: Reports to the TSM and coordinates with Customer Service Managers (CSM) to manage hangar maintenance sites, optimize productivity, and meet scheduled delivery dates.
  2. Operational Management: Receives visit files, manages worksites, assigns tasks based on skills, coordinates with other departments or subcontractors, manages parts orders, performs inspections, validates operations, troubleshoots, reports progress, and ensures compliance with regulations.
  3. Aircraft Release and Documentation: Ensures all work is properly documented, releases aircraft according to licensing, and maintains accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  4. Communication and Planning: Maintains communication with TSM/CSM regarding project progress and issues, plans tasks using English documentation, and ensures smooth handovers.
  5. Maintenance and Repairs: Replaces or repairs defective components following technical documentation and safety instructions, manages tools and equipment, and ensures proper storage and disposal of parts.
  6. Compliance and Safety: Adheres to maintenance manuals, MOE procedures, safety policies, and participates in regulatory training. Ensures work area tidiness and proper use of PPE.
  7. Additional Responsibilities: Participates in SMS activities, reports risks, and maintains accurate records in SAP.
Qualifications:
  • Must hold an EASA B1 license with QT / C license
  • Beechcraft certifications required
  • Minimum 8 years' experience

  • Knowledge of Part 145/SMS/FH/EWIS/CDCCL
