Deel is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst I to act as the first line of defence in our collections process, handling high-volume daily tasks and supporting a credit risk team. You will manage overdue invoices, document interactions, and ensure accurate account visibility.

You will collaborate across global teams, use tools like Zendesk and Workbench, and uphold SLA performance while learning new systems in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Finance, AR, or customer-facing operations (collections experience desirable).
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage high-volume workflows.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Comfort working in a global, fast-paced start-up environment.
• Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Responsabilités

• Run daily collections workflow: emails, reminders, callbacks, remittance gathering.
• Act as first touchpoint with client POCs, documenting all interactions.
• Accurately log notes, update tags, and schedule callbacks in Workbench/Zendesk.
• Escalate accounts to Credit Risk Analyst II when needed.
• Support Credit Risk Analyst II in preparing escalation cases.
• Ensure clean handovers and timely communication during PTO coverage.
• Maintain SLA performance across Jira, Zendesk, and Workbench queues.

Summary

As a Credit Risk Analyst I, you will be the first line of defence in our collections process, handling high-volume, daily operational tasks. • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
• Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
• Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
