Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is hosting a 10-week summer internship beginning June 2027, offering hands-on experience in independent credit analysis. You will work with analytical teams, contribute to research, and present outcomes to senior leaders.

The program includes a group project and a possible 2028 graduate pathway. Fluent English and residency in France are required, with at least two days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year students in finance, economics, engineering, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in credit risk research.
• Ability to learn data/automation tools and work with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in deal execution and analytical projects.
• Guide summer intern project teams to present findings to senior leaders.
• Develop credit rating methodologies and learn standard techniques.
• Prepare rating committees and issuer management meeting materials.
• Assist with quarterly financial statistics and data analysis.
• Leverage AI to analyze large datasets and derive insights.
• Maintain high-quality research, presentations, and modelling.
• Ensure confidentiality and governance compliance.
