Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Cost Engineer within MSH/MSB Lean Manufacturing to drive cost efficiency across HBM, MCP and LPDRAM operations.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify, implement, and govern cost improvement initiatives aligned with site and network financial goals. Responsibilities include leading cost programs, month-end close, budgeting, capex optimization, and developing dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience in semiconductor cost, manufacturing, finance, or operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost-improvement programs across HBM, MCP, LPDRAM, and SSD operations.
• Partner with Finance for quarterly planning and cost-per-part projections.
• Drive month-end close activities, budget adherence, and capex optimization.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor cost performance and FCF targets.
• Identify and apply AI-enabled enhancements to improve efficiency and cost control.
