Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Megève is recruiting via Hosco for a 39-hour per week internship in the Finance department. The role supports Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Central Cashier, and general purchasing activities in a luxury resort setting.

You must have the legal right to work in France and fluency in French; English is a plus. We offer an internship contract, uniform provision, and meals per shift with a living and working environment in Megève.

Qualifications

• Must have legal right to work in France.
• Fluency in French. English as a second language would be appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Support management in maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and resources.
• Foster professional and collaborative relationships with all departments and Corporate Office teams.
• Adhere to Four Seasons policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards at all times.
• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, confidentiality, strong analytical skills, and a highly organized approach to work.
• Handle and direct incoming inquiries and assist with employee-related investigations when required.
• Maintain working knowledge of Four Seasons accounting and finance standards, including USALI reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet/P&L analyses for audits.
• Support the Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with record retention and control procedures.
• Participate in inventory counts, verify stock accuracy, and investigate discrepancies in collaboration with Purchasing.
• Monitor and analyze Food & Beverage costs, sales performance, profitability, and operational expenses to identify savings opportunities.
• Ensure accurate recording and control of complimentary meals, entertainment expenses, recipes, and F&B inventory processes.
• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, supplier relations, purchase order follow-up, payment runs, dispute resolution, and vendor account reconciliations.
