THE ROLE

A top offshore firm with offices in all major offshore locations is seeking a Jersey-based Corporate Associate Lawyer. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions and contribute significantly to a dynamic and growing practice.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to some of the best corporate, finance, and funds offshore legal work in the market and will be supported by a highly successful, entrepreneurial, and collegiate team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on corporate matters, including cross-border M&A, IPOs, and private equity transactions
• Advising on cross-border corporate real estate transactions
• Providing legal advice to blue-chip clients on formation, ongoing legal and regulatory compliance, restructuring, and termination of various investment vehicles and entity types
• Working with international investment managers, sponsors, and onshore law firms in major financial centers
• Engaging in business development activities, promoting the firm, and seeking new work and cross-selling opportunities
• Collaborating with partners, sharing knowledge, and managing junior lawyers
• Participating in global and local CSR projects and initiatives

ABOUT YOU

Applicants should have 1-4 PQE in general corporate or funds matters, with experience and training from a leading law firm in a major onshore or offshore jurisdiction. Outstanding academic credentials are required.
