Job Description :

Responsible for generating concepts/ideas and highly targeted copy on one or more assigned accounts. May adap to change format, media, and/or the clients'. Works closely with Art Directors on bringing creative ideas to life.

We are seeking a talented and creativeCopywriterto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a strong command of the Khmer language, and the ability to craft compelling, audience-targeted content across various media platforms.

As a Khmer Copywriter, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing creative content that aligns with our brand voice, marketing objectives, and cultural nuances. You will collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and account managers to produce engaging, high-quality copy that resonates with our audience and drives results.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation

• Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy in Khmer for various platforms, including social media, print, TV and digital ads.
• Adapt content to align with the brand’s tone of voice, style, and objectives.

Campaign Development

• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute marketing campaigns that appeal to the local audience.
• Generate ideas and messaging that resonate with diverse target demographics in Cambodia.

Localization and Cultural Adaptation

• Ensure all content reflects cultural relevance and sensitivity while meeting the highest linguistic standards.
• Translate and adapt existing materials from English to Khmer while maintaining brand consistency.

Editing and Proofreading

• Review and refine copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the brief.
• Maintain high standards of grammar, punctuation, and tone in all written materials.

Market Research and Insights

• Stay informed about local trends, audience behavior, and competitor strategies to develop impactful and relevant content.
• Provide insights into local consumer preferences to enhance messaging strategies.
  

Collaboration and Feedback

• Work closely with account managers, designers, and strategists to align copy with visual elements and overall campaign goals.
• Accept and incorporate feedback to refine deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in written and spokenKhmer; strong understanding of grammar, tone, and idiomatic expressions.
• 1–3 yearsof experience in copywriting, advertising, or related fields (experience in an agency is a plus).
• Familiarity with digital marketing trends, and social media platforms and tools.
• Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, impactful messages.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality output.
• A portfolio showcasing your writing skills and creative work is required.

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
