Coordonnateur logistique

Under the supervision of the Distribution Center Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all activities related to the distribution center for our aeronautical customer. He/she will be responsible for receiving merchandise, preparing orders, maintaining inventory and planning various shipments. The breakdown of this role is approximately 50% administrative and 50% floor.

Available Shifts:

• 1 on day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• 2 on evening shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• 1 on weekend shift: Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Check incoming inventory against delivery notes and orders to ensure that all items are on hand, and escalate any discrepancies;
• Apply identification labels and distribute items to appropriate storage locations (put-away);
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport and store products;
• Perform order picking;
• Perform inventory validations;
• Prepare shipping documents and follow up with carriers;
• Complete receipts in the WMS system;
• Complete the necessary documentation and file it according to our customer's needs;
• Respond to various e-mail requests from the customer and our various partners, regarding upcoming work or emergencies;
• Plan the materials needed to meet upcoming orders;
• Participate in production or planning meetings with customers and business partners;
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment;
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all company health and safety policies and practices;
• All other related duties.

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:

Profile required:

• Functional English (spoken and written)
• AEC in logistics or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook office software
• Forklift certification with at least one year's experience
• 3 years' experience in distribution center logistics
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service oriented
• Teamwork and collaboration with internal customers
