Under the supervision of the Distribution Center Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all activities related to the distribution center for our aeronautical customer. He/she will be responsible for receiving merchandise, preparing orders, maintaining inventory and planning various shipments. The breakdown of this role is approximately 50% administrative and 50% floor.
Available Shifts:
1 on day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
2 on evening shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
1 on weekend shift: Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:

Check incoming inventory against delivery notes and orders to ensure that all items are on hand, and escalate any discrepancies;
Apply identification labels and distribute items to appropriate storage locations (put-away);
Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport and store products;
Perform order picking;
Perform inventory validations;
Prepare shipping documents and follow up with carriers;
Complete receipts in the WMS system;
Complete the necessary documentation and file it according to our customer's needs;
Respond to various e-mail requests from the customer and our various partners, regarding upcoming work or emergencies;
Plan the materials needed to meet upcoming orders;
Participate in production or planning meetings with customers and business partners;
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment;
Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all company health and safety policies and practices;
All other related duties.

Profile required:
Functional English (spoken and written)
AEC in logistics or equivalent
Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook office software
Forklift certification with at least one year's experience
3 years' experience in distribution center logistics
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Customer service oriented
Teamwork and collaboration with internal customers
