Position

The Global Supplier Quality Coordinator for fins and diaphragms manages the product qualification process for suppliers of fins and diaphragms used in nuclear turbines produced by Arabelle Solutions.

You will collaborate closely with strategic purchasing managers, supplier quality functions, engineering, and project management to establish the appropriate supply chain and deliver these products successfully, meeting safety, quality, cost, and deadline expectations.

Responsibilities

1. Define, approve, and communicate procurement strategies with strategic buyers, identifying quality needs to ensure a robust supply chain.
2. Coordinate technical experts across quality, engineering, and manufacturing to achieve company objectives.
3. Conduct technical audits of current and new suppliers to assess capability and experience, identifying risks and development plans.
4. Work with regional SQE managers to allocate resources for qualification and procurement activities.
5. Guide regional SQE teams to ensure qualification and development actions are properly executed.
6. Monitor progress against roadmaps and report regularly to management.
7. Collaborate with engineering to establish and maintain product qualification requirements and training.
8. Lead resolution of critical quality issues caused by suppliers, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
9. Propose and lead cost reduction opportunities identified through supplier or other functions.
10. Lead task forces to address manufacturing issues at suppliers when necessary.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree (Bac +5) in quality, materials, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy production, quality control, or inspection.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, RCA, etc.
• Experience in manufacturing process controls.
• Excellent organizational, reactive, and influencing skills.
• Proven team collaboration experience, including task delegation and coordination.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers (up to 20%).

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience as an auditor.
• Deep understanding of the design, quality control, and manufacturing processes for turbines' fins and diaphragms.
• Established network within engineering, projects, or factories at Arabelle Solutions.
• Coaching and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of NDT (non-destructive testing) techniques.
• Knowledge of destructive testing for material properties.
• Good project management skills.
• Goal-oriented and process-driven.
• Strong intercultural communication skills.
