Description du poste

A 32m performance sailing yacht is seeking an experienced Cook/Stew to join its five-person crew and active international programme.

The yacht is currently in Villefranche and will visit Barcelona before heading to the Canary Islands and crossing the Atlantic in November. The winter programme includes Antigua, Miami and Key West for Christmas, followed by Newport and Maine. The wider programme also includes a 77ft powerboat.

Day to day, the Cook/Stew will be responsible for preparing healthy, varied meals for the five crew and assisting the Sole Stewardess with interior duties as required.

The owner travels with a personal Chef, so regular owner cooking will not be the primary focus of the position. During guest trips, the Cook/Stew will support both the Chef in the galley and the Sole Stewardess with service and interior duties. The personal Chef will provide guidance on the family’s preferences.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience cooking for owners and guests to a strong yacht or charter standard, while remaining equally comfortable with crew cooking and interior work. They should be adaptable, organised and happy working as part of a small, hands-on team.

The yacht is particularly looking for someone seeking longevity and stability who would like to become a consistent part of the programme.
