Responsibilities: To check and certify that the components within their scope of responsibilities (composite/metal components, assembly, etc.) are fully compliant with their definitions and the requirements set out in the contract at the point of receipt (from suppliers), between operations or in the final phase, using explicit inspection instructions (characteristics to be checked, associated frequencies, etc.), processes (dimensional, visual or other checks) and/or special measurement and inspection resources (measurements, readings, etc.). To ensure the level of security required for resolving any non-conformities (identification, isolation, and registration).
