A leading company in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Control & Safety System Engineer for a 12-month contract in Nanterre. The role involves drafting technical specifications, participating in studies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of Control & Safety Systems and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil & Gas sector, particularly in Control & Safety Systems.
• Knowledge of applicable ISA standards and IEC61511.
• Ability to draft and review technical specifications.

Responsabilités

• Draft and review technical specifications (DCS/SIS).
• Participate in validation of control and safety systems.
• Monitor internal and external interfaces.

Connaissances

Knowledge of Control & Safety Systems

Knowledge of ICSS Offshore/Onshore

Knowledge of F&G processes

Work in interfaces with engineering disciplines

Knowledge of LNG processes

Fluency in English

We are looking for a Control & Safety System Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Nanterre, France

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 12 months

Qualification and Experience Required:

The studies at the expense of the SERVICE PROVIDER require the following skills:

• Knowledge of the specifics of Control & Safety Systems in Oil&Gas
• Knowledge of the know-how of ICSS Offshore/Onshore, Network know-how
• Knowledge of F&G processes and/or rules encountered in Oil & Gas
• Work in interfaces, internal (engineering disciplines) and/or external (partners, subcontractors, vendors...)
• Knowledge of the installation/validation aspects of ICSS systems
• Knowledge of LNG processes
• Knowledge of applicable ISA 5.1/2/3/4/5/6 standards
• Knowledge of the applicable standards IEC61511/62443 and possibly IEC61511 certification (TUV - QUALI-SIL)
• Knowledge of MS Office software (word/excel/visio)
• Reporting to the Lead
• Fluency in English

Purpose of the service

• Drafting and/or reviewing technical specifications (DCS/SIS)
• Drafting and/or reviewing control system architectures (ICSS)
• Participation in basic and/or detailed ICSS studies
• Monitoring of Internal and/or External Interfaces
• Participation in the validation of the installation aspect of the control, safety, fire and gas systems (quantity of cabinets, standard loops, etc.)
• Preparation of functional specifications: functional analysis, narrative control, cause and effect matrices, logic diagrams
• Participation in FATs
