Role Definition

Job Purpose : Responsible for the operation and maintenance of wind farm electrical assets, including the HV and LV power systems. As an asset operator, you will perform and coordinate electrical switching activities, execute daily electrical network operations and management, respond to emergency and critical alarms, and maintain Wind Farm’s transmission assets. You will act as Control Engineer and CCO according to the "Le code general de manoeuvres des réseaux électriques – ouvrages HT" (General Code of Operations for High Voltage Electricity Networks - CGMO-HV).

• External: Project Contractors, ESO RTE, relevant authorities, and other stakeholders
• Internal: Project Team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1/

• Act as Chargé de Conduite
• Monitor, operate, and manage the project’s Electrical Network
• Coordinate activities on the Electrical Network to ensure safety for personnel and assets
• Perform switching operations for Electrical Safety Isolations and Network operations on OSS, Array Cables, FOU, and WTG assets
• Operate and demonstrate Electrical Network equipment as per the Employer’s Requirements and maintenance plan
• Participate in daily HSE activities, focusing on Electrical Safety
• Ensure safe switching and operations following electrical safety rules
• Promote a strong electrical safety culture
• Oversee MV/HV Network commissioning and review related documentation
• Communicate with grid operator (RTE) and stakeholders
• Optimize Wind Farm production for maximum power export
• Manage the Control Room, operational logs, and electrical safety systems
• Maintain operational logs and ensure compliance with local and grid code requirements

• Manage Electrical Safety Documentation including PfW, LoA, SfT, switching schedules, permits, and logs
• Ensure proper management of HV documentation and systems

Qualification Requirements include at least 3 years of HV network management experience up to 225KV, control engineering or senior authorized person qualifications, and offshore wind farm experience. Fluency in English is required, French is advantageous.

Training certifications such as NF C18-510 and GWO courses are necessary.

Conditions include locations in Saint Nazaire (2024-2025) and Dieppe (2026), with potential offshore operations. Rotation is 2 weeks on/off, with day and night shifts, 12-hour shifts. The start date is ASAP, with a renewable 1-year contract. The role is based in France on an offshore wind farm project.
