Job Description

The Contract Engineer enhances project risk and opportunity management through effective contractual management with clients, partners, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Analysis and Compliance:
    • Analyze and summarize main contracts for project teams
    • Ensure adherence to contractual procedures
  2. Risk and Claims Management:
    • Identify and analyze potential claims and contractual risks
    • Develop strategies for claim management and dispute resolution
  3. Financial Oversight:
    • Review payment requests and subcontractor certificates
    • Assess financial impacts of contractual variations
  4. Negotiation and Communication:
    • Lead contractual negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
    • Draft and manage contractual correspondence
  5. Project Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities for time and cost savings within contractual frameworks
    • Advise on contractual aspects of project planning
Qualifications

You hold a Master's Degree in Engineering or Business Law and have over 5 years of experience in contract management for complex projects.

You possess proficiency in international contracts and a strong knowledge of contract law and risk management.

You are/have:

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
  • Native or equivalent proficiency in English
