Une entreprise musicale internationale recherche un Avocat en Acquisition de Catalogue pour soutenir les stratégies d'acquisition de catalogues. Le rôle comprend la gestion des aspects juridiques et l'optimisation des processus pour accélérer la croissance globale. Le candidat idéal aura un Master en droit des affaires et 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en droit des transactions, surtout en droits IP.

Qualifications

  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans des cabinets d'avocats ou en tant que conseiller juridique interne.
  • Expertise prouvée en transactions liées aux droits de contenu/IP.

Job Description

Under the responsibility of the VP Small Catalogue Acquisition and with a "dotted line" to the Group Senior M&A Lawyer, the Catalog Acquisition Lawyer will be responsible for supporting the new business team in implementing the Group’s small catalogue acquisition strategy by:

  1. Managing all legal aspects of the catalogue acquisitions processes.
  2. Streamlining the contractualization and due diligence processes to support scale.

Managing all legal aspects of the catalogue acquisitions processes

  • Provide expert legal support throughout the catalog acquisition process to ensure efficient transaction execution.
  • Oversee legal due diligence and coordinate internal and external resources, focusing on IP and content rights issues.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review all contracts and legal documents related to catalog acquisitions, including offers, confidentiality agreements, asset purchase agreements, and ancillary documentation.
  • Assist in closing and post-closing management such as warranty claims and litigation.

Streamlining contractualization and due diligence processes to support scale

  • Structure catalog acquisition contract templates to support speed, scalability, and risk mitigation.
  • Build and formalize local IP law intelligence to increase transaction volumes and accelerate global growth.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business law; combined expertise in M&A and IP is a strong plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in law firms or as in-house counsel, with a proven track record in IP/content rights transactions.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong interest in corporate law and transactional dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
