A creative agency is looking for a Social Media Content Specialist to develop and implement impactful content strategies. We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Content Specialist who can blend strategy with creativity, and understands the power of great storytelling. From building content pillars to managing KOLs, writing hooks to measuring engagement. You’ll be at the center of content that drives real growth for our clients.
About the Role
You’ll lead the end-to-end content journey: from concept to execution, publishing to performance. You’ll work closely with strategists, designers, and creators to plan campaigns, produce stand out content, and analyze what works and why. Whether it’s a viral reel, a carousel with 100 saves, or a brand campaign with KOLs, you’ll help make it happen.
Responsibilities
Build and implement content strategy, including pillars, calendars, and brand tone
Craft strong hooks, storylines, and content formats optimized for engagement
Plan and produce content for multiple platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Write and edit captions, short-form scripts, article copy, and email content
Manage and grow social media accounts; track engagement and optimize posts
Plan and execute content campaigns that align with broader marketing goals
Identify and manage influencers/KOLs, including outreach, negotiation, and reporting
Use insights to guide content decisions: what drives reach, saves, shares, and clicks
Collaborate with internal creative and marketing teams to ensure consistency and impact
What You Bring
2–4 years of experience as a Content Specialist, Social Media Specialist, or similar
Strong understanding of digital storytelling, how to hook, hold, and convert attention
A portfolio or track record of content that performed well (viral, high engagement, strong CTR, etc.)
Deep knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
Strong copywriting and editing skills inEnglish
Experience working with creative teams and briefing visual content (graphic, photo, video)
Familiar with tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creative Center, Later, HypeAuditor, Notion, and analytics dashboards
Bonus: Knowledge of SEO, paid media, email marketing, or community building
