Description du poste

We are growing! We are seeking to fill the position of : Consultant, International Development & Franchising

This role is ideal for a France-based professional with excellent professional English and a background in the restaurant or franchising industry and with proven commercial instincts. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of the restaurant sector with the qualities of a high-performing franchisee recruitment representative : lead generation, consultative selling, relationship development and effective deal progression.

The role requires travel within designated markets (France, Benelux, French Switzerland) and perhaps others.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Partner / Head of International Development and Franchising Advisory
  • Lead the business development initiatives in the designated markets in line with client mandates
  • Identify and activate discussions with potential franchise / JV partners for client brands
  • Lead prospects through established franchise qualification and discovery process, conducting brand presentations, cultivating relationships with operators and between brands and potential franchisees, managing negotiations and progressing franchise prospects to agreement signature, as per WSP sales process
  • Management of prospects from lead generation and supporting through negotiations, while coordinating process led by CEO
  • Support CEO & Head of International Development in client management, franchise development process, client reporting
  • Work with team to expand company network in the region and support clients on in-market brand awareness creation efforts
  • Manages market research to identify companies and groups meeting target profiles
  • Manage CRM updates ensuring all sales pipeline details are up-to-date and leads closely managed
  • Maintains front facing presence in market, attending and connecting at marketing / networking events in region, such as Franchise Expo Paris etc. to facilitate lead activation, company visibility etc.
  • Support development and strategy team on France-focused topics as needed

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English and French (other European languages are a plus)
