We are seeking to fill the position of: Consultant, International Development & FranchisingThis role is ideal for a France-based professional with excellent professional English and a background in the restaurant or franchising industry and with proven commercial instincts. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of the restaurant sector with the qualities of a high-performing franchisee recruitment representative: lead generation, consultative selling, relationship development and effective deal progression.The role requires travel within designated markets (France, Benelux, French Switzerland) and perhaps others.ResponsibilitiesReporting to Partner/Head of International Development and Franchising AdvisoryLead the business development initiatives in the designated markets in line with client mandatesIdentify and activate discussions with potential franchise/JV partners for client brandsLead prospects through established franchise qualification and discovery process, conducting brand presentations, cultivating relationships with operators and between brands and potential franchisees, managing negotiations and progressing franchise prospects to agreement signature, as per WSP sales processManagement of prospects from lead generation and supporting through negotiations, while coordinating process led by CEOSupport CEO & Head of International Development in client management, franchise development process, client reportingWork with team to expand company network in the region and support clients on in-market brand awareness creation effortsManages market research to identify companies and groups meeting target profilesManage CRM updates ensuring all sales pipeline details are up-to-date and leads closely managedMaintains front facing presence in market, attending and connecting at marketing/networking events in region, such as Franchise Expo Paris etc. to facilitate lead activation, company visibility etc.Support development and strategy team on France-focused topics as neededDesired Skills and ExperienceExperience in business development / salesComfortable interacting with C-level professionals, investors and business ownersClear understanding of the franchise or restaurant marketHigh level of organizationAble to work autonomouslyExcellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English and French (other European languages are a plus)Client-oriented, responsive, proactiveAmbition to grow with the companyDeeply passionate about foodserviceWhy Join Us?Be part of a multi-national, specialized advisory firm working with some of the most recognized restaurant brands globallyGain deep exposure to the international franchise development process and build a powerful professional networkCollaborate with a team of experts and contribute to the growth of top-tier foodservice brands in EuropeEnjoy remote-first flexibility, with structured performance-based progressionCompetitive compensation package including a base monthly retainer + performance-based incentive scheme
