Job Description

Asanassociate in Digital and Analytics at Kearney, you will contribute to consulting project teams as they offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients. Within the Digital & Analytics practice, you will work at the intersection of business strategy, technology, data and AI. You will help clients address topics such as digital and technology strategy, data and AI transformation, digital operating models and technology-enabled business transformation. You will combine rigorous problem solving and quantitative analysis with a strong understanding of how technology and data can create measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the success of projects through rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, including gathering and analyzing complex datasets, building business cases, conducting benchmarks and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Lead project workstreams and teams (as needed), working alongside business and technology stakeholders to structure complex problems, develop recommendations and implement co‑created solutions.
• Contribute to Digital & Analytics engagements across topics such as digital and technology strategy, data and AI, enterprise platforms, operating‑model transformation and technology‑enabled business transformation
• Assist the firm’s business development through generating proposals.
• Contribute to the development of thought leadership and other internal and external reports and articles.
• Participate in firm building opportunities, e.g. recruiting, training, and mentoring.

We would be particularly interested in candidates who:

• Have approx. 4–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in strategy, management or technology consulting, with exposure to digital, data, AI or technology transformation.
• Have a strong interest in and understanding of digital technologies, data and analytics, AI, cloud and/or enterprise technology platforms, and are able to connect these topics to business strategy and value.
• Are advanced users of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or equivalent, and actively use them to improve research, analysis, problem solving and productivity.
• Ideally have practical exposure to AI use‑case development, AI agents, copilots, automation or prototyping, and understand the fundamentals required to move from an AI idea to an implementable business use case.
• Are comfortable with quantitative and analytical tools; advanced Excel is expected, while exposure to Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools is an advantage.
