Construction Contract Manager - France, Paris - 6 Months Initial ContractOur client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for aConstruction Contract Manager to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:- Project procurement execution strategy support.
- Support the definition of the risk mitigation plan.
- Participate in the development of contractualisation strategies.
- Involve the cost control group and ensure implementation of the cost control system, e.g. progress measurement, revaluation, bank guarantees, additional items, claims, cash flow and credit notes;
- Analyse contract conditions and assist project management in preparing and leading contract execution.
- Participation in the examination of new calls for tenders and contracts.
- Support the negotiation of major contracts, subcontracts and be responsible for the final review and preparation of documents.
- Ensure that relevant FFEx Procurement & Change processes and standards are followed.
Desirable Experience:- Proven experience developing and implementing contract strategies that have delivered measurable business results
- Ability to work cross-functionally on projects and project management
- Has preferably supervised, recruited or worked for contractors General Contractors, Builders, EPCC, EPCMV / EPC
- Experience working at a senior level on a major project or in a sales/claims manager role in a large construction company.
- MBA, Contract Law degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in a regulated sector (e.g. pharmaceutical, food), preferred but not essential.
- French language required, English language strongly recommended
