An established industry player is seeking a Senior Consolidation Specialist to enhance their financial reporting team. This role involves producing consolidated financial statements under IFRS, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial disclosures. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in consolidation, particularly within the banking or insurance sectors, and demonstrate proficiency in the consolidation tool BFC. You will collaborate with a hybrid team, engage in finance projects, and play a vital role in delivering timely and reliable financial information to stakeholders. Qualifications

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Consolidation Specialist to join our team

Consolidation is in charge of producing the consolidated financial statements of SCOR under IFRS and providing reliable information to our shareholders, investors and top management.

Attached to the Head of consolidation and within a hybrid team of internals and consultants (around

7 FTE) the senior specialist :

  • is a technical expert in consolidation mechanisms and perfectly knows the consolidation tool BFC (package, journal entries, reports, navigating in rules, etc…)
  • actively participates to the quarterly consolidation process in IFRS GAAP. In this frame, you can takeover a complex consolidation process such as Shareholders equity (including impact of IFRS 2 and IAS 19) or Cash flow statements and understand the overall consolidated concepts
  • is in charge of one geographical perimeter and provides supports to local teams to secure deadlines and deliverables in BFC
  • is a key contributor in the production of the Half Year Report and Universal Registration Document of SCOR SE, producing a portefolio of disclosures in our tool and providing the related audit trails
  • is onboarded in Finance projects to provide Consolidation guidelines and secure impacts on final consolidated statements.

Required experience & competencies

  • Minimum 7 years work experience in consolidation
  • Experience in a listed Bank or Insurance Group would be an advantage
  • Perfect understanding of IFRS rules
  • Significant experience in BFC and appetence for IT tools
  • Client oriented, autonomous, proactive and pragmatic
  • Full proficiency in French (written and spoken)
  • Professional English is required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Required Education :

A higher education diploma (equivalent to Bac+5) with accounting specialization (DSCG, business school…) or equivalent experience.
