Job Description:

Postdoctoral position at the Laboratory of Chemistry at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, France.

Research Focus: Interdisciplinary projects at the interface of chemistry, biology, materials, and physics, involving organic and inorganic synthesis, molecular thermodynamics, functional materials, molecular modeling, and advanced spectroscopies.

Research Axes: Theoretical & Thermodynamic Chemistry, Supramolecular & Biological Chemistry, Functional Materials & Photonics.

Application Areas: Energy sustainability, health, environment, optical technologies.

Partnerships: Collaborations with industry, including the LabCom AMIE with ITEN, a company specializing in solid-state micro-batteries.

Candidate Profile: Holder of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields. Strong theoretical and experimental background required. Experience in research laboratories, especially related to materials, chemical processes, or physico-chemical characterizations, is an asset. Must demonstrate scientific rigor, autonomy, good communication skills in English, and interest in interdisciplinary research.
