Job summary

Kéoni Consulting is seeking a Computer System Expert to strengthen system administration and security across Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft 365. You will design, deploy, and maintain virtualized infrastructure with VMware/Hyper-V, implement backups, and lead disaster recovery initiatives.

Experience in scripting, ITIL practices, and producing rigorous docs is essential. Collaboration with PMs, security experts, and vendors is expected. Position based in Europe.

Qualifications

• Higher education in computer science, systems, or networks.
• Proven experience in administration and architecture of critical system infrastructures.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware/Hyper-V or equivalent, Veeam or equivalent, storage, and monitoring tools.
• Skills in scripting, system security, backup, disaster recovery planning, and complex incident management.
• Good understanding of ITIL practices and ability to produce rigorous technical and operational documentation.
• Autonomy, service-minded mindset, analytical skills, teaching ability, and collaboration with PM, security experts, technicians, IT department, software vendors, and hardware manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing systems and produce maps and upgrade recommendations.
• Design, administer, and upgrade system architectures, servers, virtual machines, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Ensure maintenance of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, and GPO services.
• Administer virtualization, storage, monitoring, and infrastructure capacity.
• Define, implement, and monitor backups and restores according to the 3-2-1-1-0 principle.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans, migration plans, and rollback procedures.
• Handle level 3 incidents and contribute to resolution of complex problems.
• Maintain up-to-date operating procedures, architecture documentation, test plans and reports, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure reversibility and knowledge transfer to the client's teams.
