Qualifications

Job Description

Within the financial control and accounting department of Safran Aircraft Engines' subsidiaries, reporting to the Accounting and Consolidation Department, you will join a team of 4 people including 1 apprentice.
The department's missions are twofold: to assist subsidiaries and ensure monthly control of accounting data reported by subsidiaries in IFRS standards for the preparation of Safran Aircraft Engines' consolidation, and to manage the general accounting for 4 subsidiaries (French and foreign).

Your main recurring missions will include:
- Managing the general accounting of one or more subsidiaries within the Safran Aircraft Engines consolidation scope, potentially with the assistance of a shared services center.
- Preparing balance sheet files, monthly IFRS reports for consolidated subsidiaries, annual financial statements, tax declarations, and liaising with auditors.
- Supervising and controlling the monthly and quarterly consolidation packages for an international scope of subsidiaries (IFRS standards), including:
a/ Monitoring IFRS adjustments and subsidiary performance in coordination with management control.
b/ Acting as intermediary and support between subsidiaries and the Shared Service Center (SSC).
c/ Supervising intragroup reconciliations between subsidiaries and the French CSP.
d/ Verifying consolidation adjustments (intercompany eliminations, deferred taxes, etc.).
e/ Assisting subsidiaries with rule implementation.
f/ Supporting subsidiaries in using the Safran reporting tool: BFC convergence. In certain circumstances, you may also prepare financial statements on behalf of subsidiaries.

Job Requirements

Hold a Bac +5 degree in accounting or management (e.g., Master CCA or DSCG) with successful initial experience, preferably in an accounting firm or audit environment. You aim to join an international company like Safran Aircraft Engines and the Safran Group, which offer growth opportunities.
You are meticulous, curious, proactive, and possess good interpersonal skills. You have accounting knowledge, especially of French standards and IFRS.
Your level of English allows effective communication with international stakeholders. Knowledge of the BFC consolidation tool and SAP is a plus.
