Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled IS / IT Buyer to join our team and play a critical role in managing Eutelsat Group's IT purchasing activities. In this position, you'll work closely with internal departments to ensure effective purchasing strategies and supplier performance, while contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives.

Who You Are :

You will be an IS / IT Buyer, reporting to the Indirect Purchasing Manager. You are experienced in managing IT-related purchases, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do :

• Manage a purchasing scope at Eutelsat Group's level, covering IS / IT families such as business software, ERP, hosting, networks, and intellectual IT services.
• Support various Eutelsat departments in expressing their needs and developing annual purchasing strategies.
• Establish and implement purchasing strategies in collaboration with internal customers, ensuring long-term company interests and risk minimization.
• Lead calls for tenders, conduct negotiations, manage contracts, and oversee supplier performance throughout the duration of relationships.
• Act as the main liaison with internal customers to anticipate needs and provide market insights to enrich decision-making.
• Ensure data quality in ERP and purchasing databases.
• Provide management with necessary reporting on performance in your area of responsibility.
• Resolve disputes with suppliers to maintain smooth and efficient relationships.

What You'll Need :

• Business or Engineering School graduate (Master2 level), with at least 3 years of experience in IT purchasing within a large-scale company.
• Solid understanding of IT, key technologies used within the group, and IT contract specifics.
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in English (B2-C1 level).
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Your Assets :

• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Mastery of Excel.
• Familiarity with IT contract law (software, projects, package or contract services, etc.).
• Knowledge of IS / IT markets in France, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
• Analytical mindset with strong synthesis abilities.
