You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and drafting of technical drawings for composite materials and structures, ensuring that they meet both client specifications and industry standards. With an engineering school background, you are passionate about technological challenges and possess strong knowledge of composite structures.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and justify the composite structure design for the OceanWings® composite components, working closely with our FEA (Finite Element Analysis) structural team to ensure safety, durability, and performance. Follow standards governing design, manufacturing processes, and tests of composite parts.
  • Generate 3D models and produce 2D technical drawings and lamination plans for composite components, using CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, Creo Parametric, AutoCAD) for the OceanWings® composite components.
  • Ensure the feasibility of manufacturing and assembling the OceanWings® composite components.
  • Oversee the selection of appropriate composite materials based on performance requirements, cost, and availability.
  • Follow the prototyping of composite parts (full-scale and sub-structures) and the testing process to validate design concepts.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation, including design and test reports, technical specifications, and technical drawings, to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Optimization: Participate in building OceanWings®’ feedback database, optimizing the existing composite component design to improve manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
