Oceanco in Monaco is seeking a Digital Surface Modeler to transform design concepts into production-ready geometry, focusing on NURBS/Class A surfaces and high-quality digital models.

You will collaborate with Yacht Designers, Engineering, Naval Architecture and partners, creating accurate models for reviews, visualization and manufacturing.

What will your challenges be?

At Oceanco, extraordinary yachts start with extraordinary ideas. As Digital Surface Modeler, you transform those ideas into highly accurate, production-ready digital geometry. You create, develop and validate high-quality NURBS / Class A surface models, ensuring that the original design intent is preserved while meeting engineering, production and manufacturing requirements.

Working at the intersection of creativity and technology, you continuously balance aesthetics, surface quality and technical feasibility. You develop robust digital models that can be used throughout the yacht development process, from visualization and design reviews through engineering integration and manufacturing.

You’ll be working with the Yacht Designers team in our Monaco office, collaborating with Engineering, Naval Architecture and external partners, translating ambitious design concepts into technically feasible solutions. You also support design reviews by preparing accurate digital models and design studies and collaborate with the Project Development team on ongoing projects.

In addition, you support the creation of presentation materials, renderings and colored design studies for client presentations, internal reviews and sales activities. An important part of your role is ensuring consistency between presentation models and production surface data.

You safeguard Oceanco's standards for digital surface quality, NURBS modelling and data organization, report on project progress and actively follow developments within your field to continuously improve the way we work.

You bring:

• Master's degree in 3D Digital Design
• Expertise and solid experience in complex NURBS / Class A digital surface modelling(Rhino 3D or Alias)
• Experience in ship building or yacht building industry
• The ability to create accurate, high-quality and production-ready surface geometry
• The ability to balance design intent with engineering, production and technical constraints.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Yacht Design, Engineering, Naval Architecture and external partners
• An eye for quality and consistency across visualization and production data
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills, combined with an innovative and customer-oriented mindset
